Here are some photos that resulted from this week-long "Det Store Polaroid Studio" (the big Polaroid studio) gala. Peter Aagaard got virtually all of the very top names in the arts and politics involved with this opening. In just three and a half days, he shot some thirty five celebrities, then hung the show and had an exhibition on Sunday. Among the personalities were Danish Minister of Culture Elsebeth Gerner Nielsen and Copenhagen Mayor Hans Thustrup Hansen. There were also some very famous European personalities such as the actress Ghita Norby and the actor Ole Ernst and Danish TV and rock stars Pernille Hojmark and Hella Joof. The cream of the cream in the Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Ejler Bille, the abstract painter, and Bjorn Norgaard the sculptor were here.
Danish Television was here, and the Danish version of the New York Times printed a story about the new studio on the front page. The headlines reads: "Celebrities in the Superlens" and "31 Celebrities were photographed......" A very successful event!
